Issue Reporting

Like feature requests, BungeeAFK issues are tracked on GitHub. If you experience any issues with BungeeAFK, please follow these steps to report them effectively:

Reporting Issues on GitHub

To report an issue on GitHub, visit the BungeeAFK issues page and click on the "New issue" button on the top right. Choose the Bug report template to create a new issue. This template will guide you through the process of reporting your issue. When creating a new issue, please provide the following information:

  • Title: A concise title that summarizes the issue.
  • Description: A detailed description of the issue.
  • Steps to Reproduce: A clear list of steps to reproduce the issue, if applicable.
  • Expected Behavior: What you expected to happen.
  • Screenshots: Add screenshots to help explain your issue if applicable.
  • Environment: Information about your server environment, including:
    • Server software (e.g., BungeeCord, Velocity)
    • Server version
    • BungeeAFK version
  • Other Plugins: A list of other plugins installed on your server, if applicable.
  • Logs: Relevant logs or error messages that occurred when the issue happened. You can find these in the console or in the log files of your server. Use Gist or a similar service to share large log files.
  • Additional Context: Any additional context or information that may help in diagnosing the issue.
  • Before Reporting:
    • Check if the issue has already been reported by searching through existing issues.
    • Ensure that you are using the latest version of BungeeAFK, as the issue may have already been fixed in a newer release.
    • Ensure that you are not using any forked version of BungeeAFK. Reports from forked versions may not be addressed.
    • Ensure that BungeeAFK-Tracking is installed on all subservers in your network, as it is required for BungeeAFK to function properly.
